About this speaker
Dr. Arnab Basu is an academic genitourinary oncologist focusing in the care of patients with Kidney Cancer & Bladder Cancer. Dr. Basu is experienced in the use of immunotherapy and targeted therapies in these diseases and has performed research in resistance mechanisms to immunotherapy. Dr. Basu is developing translational research programs in the genitourinary malignancies at UAB. In addition to kidney and bladder cancer, he also specializes in testicular, adrenal and prostate cancers. He holds a Alabama Drug Discovery Alliance award for the development of novel therapeutics for Kidney Cancer.
